SAFETY IN THE CAR PARK
Please remember to hold your child’s hand when entering and leaving the Nursery grounds – in case a vehicle should enter the car park. The staff will also explain this to the children during circle time.
When entering or leaving the Nursery, please ensure you close the door behind you each time.
If there is someone behind you on entering, please get them to use the appropriate buzzer. Please do not allow children to open doors.
To further ensure the security of your children, we would like to request that you hold their hands when entering/ leaving the Nursery grounds.
CHANGE OF ADDRESS & CONTACT NUMBERS
It is VERY IMPORTANT that you let us know immediately of any change of address, telephone or mobile contact details. Forms are available in nursery for you to complete.
COMMUNICATING WITH STAFF
As a Nursery, we endeavor to operate an ‘open door’ policy for parents. It is important that we work in partnership with you to ensure the best interest of the children are met. We want you to communicate effectively with us and do understand that due to other commitments many parents cannot be there at the beginning or end of the day. The email Address of the Nursery is available on the information board or on the website where you can liaise directly with the Management team to provide us with information you wish to share or you can arrange a meeting. We also operate a Zero Tolerance for unacceptable behavior.
Should your child require medication at Nursery, please ensure that the medication is prescribed, is in date, clearly labelled and delivered to a member of staff. If there are any changes to your child’s health or medication in the interim, please speak to your child’s key worker or a member of the management team. The staff will only Administer Medication that are prescribed by a doctor. Only in an emergency, non-prescribed Medication will be administered.
We are very delighted to announce that Iqra (Toddler room) and Lemischa (Pre-school room) have joined our lovely team of staff. We are sad to inform you that Razk has left the team. We are glad to inform you that Francine is back from Maternity.
In order to strength our parent link, as well as keep you fully informed on your child’s individual development, we arrange informal Parents Evening three times a year. This term Parents’ Evening is from week commencing the 2z. Please book your appointment with your child’s Key worker. At parents evening you will have the opportunity to view your child’s development records and observations. These meetings ensure you are fully aware of your child’s progress and their individual needs are discussed, planned and integrated to ensure continued learning.
If your child has done anything exciting during the week-end or holidays or has achieved a particular milestone, we would like to know so that we can talk about such an event with them. If you wish to include photos with some of these we would love to see them and they will be added to your child’s learning journey and an Observation Box/Board to give a complete overview of your child’s learning experiences at Nursery and at home, on outings and holidays.
